Work continues on the west coast to reconnect the fibre optic cable used for the remote operation and monitoring of the electrical network, Peel & Ramsey power stations and also the two main Gas Pressure Reduction Stations at Glen Mooar and Glen Vine. We are currently monitoring via alternate routes which were automatically selected as soon as the fibre failed during the storms. ^ac
